Arvika - Corporate Statement – Tariff Update Related to Section 232
USA consumers : Arvika wishes to inform its partners and clients of a significant development affecting our export operations. As of June 4th,2025, our products are now subject to new tariffs under the application of Section 232 of the U.S. Trade Expansion Act, despite the applicable de minimis exemption given their value typically being under the $800 USD. Arvika has fully absorbed the initial 25% tariffs imposed under Section 232 since their introduction. Continuing to absorb these costs is not viable, and the recent increase to 50% is even worse.This situation represents a major change in the trade landscape for Arvika. We are actively assessing the implications and consulting with trade and legal advisors to determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.Our priority remains to protect our client relationships and ensure the long-term sustainability of our business.
